40 inch Commercial Mower Blade Spindle Shaft
This vertical spindle shaft fits the 40 inch Commercial 2 blade finish mower for the Gravely 2 wheel walk behind tractors. The early mower just had 1/2 round skids to glide on. The later production models had the same 1/2 round skids and out front caster wheels
As with most of our shafting parts, this shaft is made from grade 4140 (chrome-moly) steel, making it stronger and tougher than the original. It has a grind finish on all close fit areas.
It does not have the 3/8 square hole at the bottom for the socket wrench. It has been reported by several dealers that it has been the cause for failure of many of these shafts.
This is an equivalent replacement of the OEM item #9203.
